Penumbra Theatre Company productions encourage and facilitate a culturally diverse and all-inclusive America by using theatre to teach, criticize, comment and model. Our study guides are meant to contextualize thematic and social or historical elements of our productions, helping to explain our interest in the work we do and why we think it is important. They are educational tools, reference materials and offer first hand accounts from the artists as to their experience with each production.
