St. Paul, MN: Penumbra Theatre Company, the nation’s premier African American theatre, announced at a press briefing today, the elimination of all debt and ending the fiscal year in the black for the second year in a row. Penumbra opens its doors for the 2005-2006 Season with a bold new look, a new donor cultivation program, the Kathryn Corum Gagnon Fellowship award, and its first national tour.
