Penumbra’s Summer Institute is a multi-year leadership development program training young artists to critically engage the world around them and to respectfully take action to realize the luminosity of their dreams. Students explore who they are and discover their own power to make change. Authentic features original monologues written and performed by students who employ the power of their art to address issues that concern them. The evening includes a post-show discussion facilitated by the artists.
