The federal administration’s immigration strategy is built upon one goal: stop the “browning of America.” As national resources are directed toward targeting Black and Brown immigrants, the administration is simultaneously incentivizing immigration from white South Africans. The success of this strategy relies on the disintegration and polarization of communities of color and white allies.
