Let’s Talk: Mental Wellness and Race
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
Facilitated by Penumbra Wellness Director Camille Cyprian
Systemic barriers like high cost of care and lack of culturally relevant providers can make discussion about mental health taxing for members of BIPOC communities. But with an epidemic of mental health distress profoundly affecting Black and Brown communities, we see that changing. Join us in conversation with mental health practitioners as we dig into what it means to be well and discuss the emergence of culturally specific practices to address this critical community need.
This event begins at 6:00pm with refreshments and light bites, followed by a 90-minute presentation and discussion.
Purchase online or call 651.224.3180 Monday through Friday, from 10 to 4:30pm.

“I’m super-excited about Penumbra’s next life cycle that will combine the theatre and a learning center–a place that allows for questioning, reflecting and understanding.”
