Master Class for Artists: Directing August Wilson with Lou Bellamy
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
Lou Bellamy will place the work of August Wilson into conversation with Penumbra’s aesthetic and his own directing technique, honed from more than twenty years of directing Wilson’s work. This interactive class will focus on Bellamy’s approach to directing, black theater, and the work of August Wilson. He will be joined by Penumbra Company members as he dissects the rhythm and reason of August Wilson’s work.
