Minnesota’s diverse theatre ecology includes five vitally important theatres of color: Mu Performing Arts, New Native Theatre, Pangea World Theatre, Penumbra Theatre, and Teatro del Pueblo. Together these theatre companies nurture artists of color, provide authentic depictions of our peoples and cultures, and serve communities of color with accountability and pride. Join us to learn more about the Twin Cities Theatres of Color Coalition and how we are working together to ensure that theatres of color not only survive, but thrive.

Penumbra’s Let’s Talk Series creates space for compassionate and challenging conversations around issues of social justice, equity, and the arts. Hosted by Sarah Bellamy, the event begins at 6:00pm with refreshments and light bites, followed by a 90-minute presentation and discussion.
